“An absolute moron,” Joe Rogan brutally bashed by celebs and users on Twitter for his views on gun control laws

Joe Rogan has received a massive hit in response to his views on gun control lately

A few days after the tragic elementary school shooting in Uvalde, Texas, took place, Joe Rogan landed himself in yet another massive controversy and this time, surrounding his views on the gun control laws. Rogan, a UFC colour commentator and comedian is widely known around the world as the podcast kingpin since it’s through his platform in a podcast- The Joe Rogan Experience– that becomes the breeding ground of all the controversies.

Rogan is one of those few people around that are against the gun control laws for many reasons. One of the main reasons is that taking away arms from the average citizen improves a criminal’s tendency to commit a crime upon that citizen who is also having a gun but whose arms cannot be confiscated by the government because they are in the hands of the criminal who is not detained yet. Rogan’s recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience with Lex Friedman sparked controversies the moment this issue was raised.

While Rogan said what he wanted to say, some famous figures wanted to give a piece of their mind as well out on Twitter to staunchly oppose Rogan’s views. One of them was Ernest Owens, award winning journalist and Philidelphia Magazine’s Editor-At-Large. Other being podcaster and comedian John Melendez. Melendez also retweeted another fellow comedian Christopher Titus tweet opposing Rogan. Read through them below.

Owens said: “Joe Rogan makes millions of dollars going the wrong direction on common sense daily. Imagine purposely choosing to make illogical arguments that will continue to endanger the lives of innocent children. From COVID to gun control, it’s a disgusting way to make a living.”

John Melendez didn’t hold himself back to thrash Rogan and said “As I’ve said before @joerogan is an absolute moron. He’s as blatantly stupid as TFG. Saying something like gun control doesn’t work is equally as stupid as him saying you should take Ivermectin instead of getting vaccinated. Why anybody listens to this blockhead is beyond me.”

Other viewers also gave their two cents on Rogan’s thoughts about gun controls. One of them even asked “Since when @joerogan has had legal education or any knowledge to opine about gun control?”

What do you make of these reactions for Rogan talking the unpopular way about gun control laws? Do you agree with Rogan or strongly disagree like the others above as well? Do you think The Joe Rogan Experience might be endangered in the near future which might bring to its end if the controversies keep on coming from the podcast?
