“Be scared of that guy,” Joe Rogan cautiously looks out for Google CEO’s intentions as he warns his audience at JRE

Joe Rogan- Sundar Pichai

Joe Rogan these days is into many things and his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience is premier evidence of that. Safe to say there’s less talk about it and so Rogan is out of his controversies related to spreading misinformation on Covid vaccination and use of racial slur. Rogan was last seen in public appearance to the MMA world amongst the commentary team for UFC 274 comprising of him, UFC Hall of Famer Daniel Cormier and longtime broadcaster Jon Anik.

Rogan’s podcast has been the leading podcast for several years in the row now. It all began in December 2009 and by August 2010, Rogan entered the iTunes’ top 100 list in podcasts. Rogan is now expected to be seen at the first ever UFC event being hosted in Asia as UFC 275 takes place in Singapore. The card is headlined by a light-heavyweight title fight between the champion Glover Teixeira and the challenger Jiri Prochazka.

On his podcast with Navy Seal and Author Jack Carr, Rogan talks about many things and stumbles upon the talking about quantum computers and the magnitude of impact of Google company in the internet world today. Then suddenly a picture of Google CEO Sundar Pichai popped up on the screen of his podcast studio when Rogan instantly reacted to it.

“That’s the Google guy. Be scared of that guy. Look at him. With this, I will run every loose finger. Class together.” said Rogan [h/t Essentially Sports]

For those who don’t know about Sundar Pichai, he was born in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India and did his course in metallurgical engineering from IIT Kharagpur. He then did his MS in material science from Stanford University and MBA from Wharton University in Pennsylvania. Pichai joined Google in 2004 and by 2015, he was selected to be appointed as the next CEO for Alphabet Inc. and it’s subsidiary Google.

Rogan said this about Pichai premierly referring to quantum computers, which are extremely futuristic and powerful machines, only available to a few powerful people. His guest, Jack Carr has mentioned them in his upcoming book, for which he did a lot of research. Carr also cited that he found some unsettling evidence against Google whilst doing his research. What do you make of Rogan talking precautiously about Pichai? Do you think he and Carr are right about Google’s intentions of subtly authorising over the world’s information?
