Generally, Rogan sits at the commentary table during UFC Pay-per-views events. But this time, the 54-year-old was at UFC Fight Night: Emmet vs Kattar as an audience member.

UFC Austin turned out to be a huge event as the fighters put forward an impressive show. Josh Emmett took on Calvin Kattar in a five-round main event featherweight fight. Both the fighters went all out but at the end, Emmet won the fight via unanimous decision. Emmet winning the bout changed the dynamics around the featherweight division. Other than the main event bout between, the fight between Adrian Yanez and Tony Kelly was also very entertaining.

During the event, Rogan was enjoying all the action in the stands. Rogan shared a picture of the ringside view on his official Instagram account.

In the caption, Rogan revealed that it was his first time watching a UFC event as a member of the audience. He wrote :

“First time in the audience at a @ufc in 20 years! #ufcaustin ”

Rogan is a legend and has built an extremely respectful name for him. Rogan worked as a UFC commentator from 1997 to 1999 but left the job due to less pay. Later when Dana White took control in 2001, he brought back Rogan and the rest is history.

It’s weird for fight fans not to hear Rogan screaming with full excitement during huge Pay-per-view events on a Saturday night. His passion for the sport is still wild even after 20 years. Other than being a UFC commentator, Rogan has also established himself as the biggest podcaster in the world.
