Joe Rogan joined the commentary team of UFC 298 in Anaheim, California. As much as Rogan hates to go to California, his decision to go back did not result in disappointment. The UFC commentator talked about the fight between Merab Dvalishvili and Henry Cejudo at length in a recent JRE episode. Rogan had nothing but words of praise to issue Merab for lifting Cejudo and slamming him onto the ground.

Joe Rogan invited Matt Serra and Din Thomas to the podcast. They talked about the Merab Dvalishvili vs. Henry Cejudo fight. Rogan was extremely enthusiastic and mentioned that Dvalishvili looked fierce while he carried Cejudo to Mark Zuckerberg. Rogan expressed the fight sequence as a savage moment.

Merab displayed his abilities throughout the battle, proving to be the better fighter in every aspect. After facing difficulties in the first round, the Georgian fighters dominated Cejudo and won unanimously on the scorecards. Dvalishvili delivered a star-making performance at the PPV event in Anaheim.

Moreover, no one expected Dvalishvili to dominate a two-division champ like Cejudo that way. In addition to showcasing Dvalishvili’s skill, the performance cemented his standing as a powerful contender in the bantamweight division. On top of that, he was able to impress Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg in the crowd, who is a BBJ practitioner and an MMA aspirant.

During the fight, Dvalishvili was observed talking with Mark Zuckerberg. The Meta CEO attended the PPV event and sat alongside UFC executive Hunter Campbell. As such, Merab spoke in detail about Zuckerberg after the fight.

The win over Cejudo extended Dvalishvili’s win streak to 10 fights, with the three most recent coming over former UFC champions. Dvalishvili is currently the number one contender for bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley’s title. Fight fans are excited to see the fighter lift the championship belt soon. As such, Zuckerberg might make an appearance to support the Georgian fighter.
