“She should live in the jungle” Joe Rogan gives his final thoughts on the Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard trial
Joe Rogan believes Amber Heard should apologize to the public
Joe Rogan like all of us has been hooked on the ongoing defamation trial between Johnny Depp and his ex-wife Amber Heard. It is no surprise that Joe was equal parts pumped and relieved when the trial reached it’s final stages with a verdict just around the horizon. That came out earlier this weekend and Joe was with UFC Bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling when it was all concluded.
Johnny Depp sued his ex-wife over a defamatory article published by her in the Washington Post after their separation in 2016. In the article, Amber Heard alleged Depp to have constantly physically abused her during the entirety of their relationship. The article is said to have cost Depp his roles in multiple franchises including the Pirates series and his role as Grindlewald in the Fantastic Beasts franchise.
After over 3 weeks of deliberation, the jury finally came to a verdict and found all three counts of Depp’s defamation suit to be valid while one count of Amber’s counter-suit was validated. Depp is set to receive around $15 Million in damages relating to that article while Heard will be awarded around $2 million for a defamatory claim made by one of Depp’s old lawyers.
Joe Rogan thinks Amber Heard needs to try Ayahuasca
Reacting to the live verdict Rogan made his thoughts on Amber clear. He said he doesn’t wish Amber has to pay a heavy fine because she is “a broken woman” saying that her being exposed as a crazy person is enough punishment for her. “That lady needs to go to the jungle, do some ayahuasca, and get connected with the mother and then come back and apologize,” said Rogan a few moments before the final judgment was read out.
Rogan asked Jaime to cut out the live stream after it was made clear that Depp had won the case saying, “Now I feel like I’m watching someone get beat up and Herb Dean just stepped in.” Aljamain Sterling then pointed out the “late stoppage” was more akin to infamous MMA referees Mario Yamasaki and Steve Mazzagati causing both to chuckle.
