Joe Rogan is visibly shocked and disturbed by Dalai Lama’s recent viral video. UFC color commentator and the host of The Joe Rogan Experience shared his opinions on Dalai Lama kissing a young kid in front of the crowd. With over 11 million listeners per episode, any statement in his podcast tends to go viral and become a piece of sensational news. Rogan’s reaction to the Dalai Lama controversy was one such moment in the podcast.


Dalai Lama’s recent controversial incident is seen making rounds on the Internet where he is seen kissing a young kid. Dalai Lama is one of the most renowned spiritual leaders in the world. His Holiness has faced the ire of the public in the past due to his controversial statements. While his holiness is known for teasing people in an innocent and playful way, however, him kissing a young kid has received severe backlash from the world.

Rogan on his podcast was very shocked after bringing up the incident. Joe Rogan discussed how Dalai Lama is known for being playful and making controversial statements, but kissing a young kid crossed the line. Rogan also encroached upon why Dalai Lama would ask the kid to stick out his tongue in the first place. Turns out that in Tibet sticking out one’s tongue is known as a traditional greeting. But nowhere is it mentioned that sucking the tongue is not part of the tradition. According to Rogan, this was unacceptable behavior by Dalai Lama as he is a huge spiritual leader.
Many are trying to defend Dalai Lama for his behavior under the pretense of him being a pure, innocent, and playful soul. Dalai Lama has since then issued an apology for his behavior and regrets the incident.

Joe Rogan on his podcast questioned whether Dalai Lama should face jail time after his controversial incident. A recent video of him kissing a young kid is seen doing rounds on the Internet. The incident has since received heavy backlash from the general public. Rogan too expressed his disgust with his holiness however, this was not the first time Dalai Lama was canceled by the crowd and returned as if nothing happened.

On his podcast with guest Zachary Levi, Rogan talks about Dalai Lama’s controversial comments on marriage. Dalai Lama talked about how many of the people he knew were married. But, after they divorced they became miserable and their wives took all their money. In response to Dalai Lama’s comment, a woman responded by saying “Women make money too.” His holiness sarcastically laughed at this statement and said “Oh yeah good one.” This led to people labeling Lama as a misogynist.
Dalai Lama has also made several comments on if a woman Dalai Lama is selected she should be attractive. “People would not prefer to see her if she was not pretty.” Zachary Levi then explained how there is a council of nine people around Dalai Lama and people will have problems with every one of them. But the diversity of the council compensates for all of that making Dalai Lama walk away scratch-free.
