“F*** that!” Joe Rogan was left shell-shocked after MMA fighter revealed ridiculous marijuana laws in Cuba

Rogan is also responsible for hosting the most popular podcast, ‘Joe Rogan Experience.’ Rogan is a popular media figure who has traveled across multiple mediums of entertainment. He is also a successful stand-up comic and a prominent member of the LA podcast scene.
Another thing that Joe Rogan is known for is his advocacy of marijuana. On his podcast, he has had multiple discussions on the legalization of weed. He also talked about the benefits that cannabis can have on one’s mental health. The podcaster has been credited with shifting public opinion on the use of the drug. When he had Cuban UFC fighter Yoel Romero on his podcast, they had a hearty discussion on the matter.
When asked about the legality of weed in Cuba, Yoel Romero said “[Marijuana]Illegal, big trouble,” referencing the ban on cannabis in Cuba. Shortly, comedian Joey Diaz asked about the prison time for marijuana consumption, to which Yoel Romero heaved a sigh. “Ten to twenty years, for one joint,” said Romero. Joe Rogan appeared to be shocked upon hearing this. “F*** that,” exclaimed Rogan.
Since Romero cannot speak English, Cuban-American comedian Joey Diaz had to translate it for Rogan. As established by Romero, Cuba has one of the strictest laws when it comes to marijuana. Those in possession of the drug will face severe penalties and imprisonment.
