Earlier this month, Sean Brady told Joe Rogan that Joe Pyfer had broken Francis Ngannou’s record in a punching machine. However, the UFC didn’t recognize it as the machine operator claimed the Powerkube had malfunctioned. According to Sean Brady, Pyfer broke the record three times. Still, the UFC and the fans didn’t believe it. So, Pyfer came up with video evidence and played it on the JRE podcast.
In the recent episode of the JRE podcast, Joe Pyfer joined Joe Rogan and discussed the experience of breaking Francis Ngannou’s record. Firstly, Rogan acknowledged that many people doubted the credibility of Pyfer’s claim since ‘The Predator’ was much bigger. Then, he proceeded to play the footage of Pyfer breaking the record. He scored upwards of 170 units, breaking Ngannous’s record of 129.161 units. Here is what he said:
Right away, off the bat, cause people don't know. You really did break Francis Ngannou's punch record. Lot of people, they doubted just because he's so big...I think he (Eddie Hall) got 113, and Francis had gotten 129, 170 (Joe Pyfer).Joe Rogan via JRE Podcast

The video played on the JRE Podcast first showed Strongman Eddie Hall attempting to break the record and scoring something upwards of 113 units. Then, it featured the record holder Francis Ngannou, scoring 129.161 units. Finally, they played Joe Pyfer’s video of him reaching 170 units with his thunderous punch. On that note, Joe Pyfer claimed to have already gone to the punching machine thrice.
Joe Pyfer breaking Francis Ngannou’s record was a humongous feat, considering their weight difference. ‘Bodybagz’ competed in the middleweight division in the UFC and won three fights via finishes. Also, coming from an underprivileged background, Pyfer earned a lot of fans by showcasing his will and dedication. He is scheduled to face #10-ranked Jack Hermansson next month in UFC Fight Night.
Sean Brady and Joe Rogan speak about Joe Pyfer’s punching record
Sean Brady and Joe Rogan discussed the event of Joe Pyfer breaking Francis Ngannou’s punching machine record. At first, Rogan expressed his fascination for the power ‘Bodybagz’ carried in his hand. Then, he revealed to the public for the first time that Pyfer broke the record of Ngannou.

After Joe Rogam announced the news, Sean Brady disclosed that Pyfer wasn’t credited with the record. This puzzled Rogan, as he asked, ‘Why?’ In response, Brady said the machine manager stated something was wrong with the machine and refused to register Pyfer’s record. As such, Brady added even ‘Bodybagz’ didn’t believe it.
Joe Pyfer entered the UFC through Dana White’s Contender Series. Since his appearance on the show, fans noticed him for his performances. Also, his personal story inspired the people. Now, with three consecutive wins in the UFC, he faces Jack Hermansson in an attempt to break through to the middleweight rankings. As such, this fight goes down on February 10 at the UFC APEX.
