UFC welterweight Sean Brady joined Joe Rogan on his JRE podcast recently. During their conversation, Joe Rogan revealed UFC middleweight Joe Pyfer breaking Francis Ngannou’s record on a punching machine. In 2018, Ngannou recorded the hardest punch on a PowerKube machine with a whopping number of 129.161 units.

Joe Pyfer is an up-incomer in the UFC middleweight division who made his way to the UFC through Dana White’s Contender Series. On the JRE episode, Joe Rogan first praised the power of Joe Pyfer and subsequently revealed his breaking of Francis Ngannou’s record. Further, he was perplexed why the UFC didn’t register it and give ‘Bodybagz’ his credits. Here is what he said:

That motherf***er hits so hard. We should tell everybody that he broke Francis Ngannou's record on that punch machine. They didn't want to register it which is, I don't understand why. why didn't they want to give it to him?

Sean Brady, a teammate of Joe Pyfer’s, answered why the record of ‘Bodybagz’ wasn’t registered. Here is what he said:

Joe Pyfer trains out of Philladelphia’s Marquez MMA alongside Sean Brady. After entering the UFC via DWCS, ‘Bodybagz’ secured three impressive finishes in three fights. As such, his MMA record extended to 12 wins and two losses.

Now, he faces a tough challenge in his next fight against Jack Hermansson. This would mark Pyfer’s first-ranked opponent and give him a chance to break into the top ten of the division. As such, this fight goes down in February as a Fight Night Main Event.

Joe Pyfer started his MMA career in the regional scene and quickly scored six straight wins. However, he lost his seventh fight via submission. But he returned to the winning column in his next fight. As such, he got a chance to perform in Dana White’s Contender Series in 2020. Although he showcased his skills in DWCS, he lost the fight after suffering an elbow injury. As such, he had to go through medical processes and reaccess his career.

After over a year, he returned to MMA by the end of 2021 and fought in CFFC. He won the fight impressively to knock on the doors of the DWCS once again. As such, he participated in the competition in 2022 and earned a contract after defeating Ozzy Diaz.

Soon, he made his debut for the UFC against Alen Amedovski. He finished the fight in the first round and announced his arrival. Later, he went up against Gerald Meerschaert and Abdul Razak Alhassan and secured victories via TKO and submission, respectively.

Joe Pyfer soon became a rising star in the UFC with a strong narrative behind him. Fans related to his struggles and started to celebrate his wins. As such, he faces Jack Hermansson next in an attempt to get his middleweight rankings. This fight takes place in February in Las Vegas.
