When Joe Rogan took the controversial drug ivermectin to fight COVID-19
In 2021, Joe Rogan, the host of Spotify’s most popular podcast, announced that he had contracted COVID. He mentioned that he was feeling better, but his health update certainly raised concerns among health experts.

The podcaster doesn’t consider himself a health expert but has dissuaded young people from obtaining the COVID-19 vaccine and said on Instagram that he had treated the virus thoroughly. He mentioned a number of drugs he took, such as ivermectin, which is frequently prescribed to treat parasites in both people and animals.
The US Food and Drug Administration has not approved ivermectin for treatment against the coronavirus, despite the fact that it can be prescribed to treat parasitic diseases in people. Rogan’s humongous influence and his promotion of such drugs definitely attracted a lot of controversies
