Rogan is good friends with fellow podcaster Shane Gillis and has hosted him many times. Gillis recently revealed how a drunken mistake led to him being submitted eight times by Rogan.

He said, “He ripped my shoulder off, and I was hammered so I was like Jiu-Jitsu is gay. He tapped me like eight times.” When asked if he could at least try to wrestle with Rogan, Gillis blatantly said no as he knows his friend’s prowess.
Rogan is a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, under the guidance of Eddie Bravo. He has been training in BJJ for over 20 years and is known for his aggressive, submission-oriented style.
