Valentina Shevchenko and Sean Strickland have been going back and forth for a while on X. The feud came out of nowhere and surprised everyone recently. Now, Shevchenko challenged Strickland to a gun-shooting challenge to settle the beef. Once Joe Rogan was fascinated about the Russian woman’s shooting skills. He called her an assassin and said that she would be the greatest spy in a James Bond movie.

After having heated arguments on X, Valentina Shevchenko offered Sean Strickland to settle the deal by a shooting match. She even comically tagged UFC CEO Dana White and asked for a belt for the shooting competition. Strickland also accepted Shevchenko’s shooting arrangement. As such, aside from their beef, the two were involved in funny banter too. Here is what she said:

Sean Strickland posts strange comments on X all the time. As such, he posted a cryptic tweet about women’s MMA. That was when Valentina Shevchenko came into the picture. She trolled the American fighter for his comments. Since then, they have been going at each other on X.

Valentina Shevchenko is a great representative of women’s MMA. She won the flyweight title in 2018 and has defended it seven times continuously. However, she lost her title to Alexa Grasso at UFC 285. On the other hand, Sean Strickland shocked the world as he became the middleweight champion by beating Israel Adesanya at UFC 293. Now, he’s booked to face Dricus Du Plessis next year.

How did the beef between Sean Strickland and Valentina Shevchenko start?

At first, Sean Strickland posted a bizarre comment about women’s MMA and their pay. He stated that women’s MMA was debilitated and that men would pay more to watch them naked than fight. So, Valentina Shevchenko being a fellow women’s fighter fired back at Strickland for his comments. She said that Strickland was an offended kid who was paid less than women in the UFC.

In response, Strickland criticized Valentina Shevchenko’s loss to Alexa Grasso. To which Shevchenko replied that Strickland was someone who lost to a girl in training and was offended by all women. They went back and forth for a while until recently when Strickland admitted that the former flyweight champion was right and offered her to go shooting with him. Here is what he said:

Just had a 10 round death match.. It was glorious BUT all the demons are gone and the voices in my head are giving me peace now...... Valentina you're right, you have good head kicks. Next time you're in Vegas lets go shooting. Have a great day:)
