Jon Jones trolls Israel Adesanya for threatening Alex Pereira

UFC 276 just went down and superstar Jon Jones cannot help but laugh at the potential matchup of Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira. The former light heavyweight champion trolls Adesanya for his post-fight octagon interview after beating Jared Cannonier.

Jon Jones has been on the sidelines for quite some time now but his war of words with Israel Adesanya never seems to stop. At one point the two were going back and forth and were even in talks to fight each other but now that fight is only as good as a fairytale. However, the two fighters keep going back and forth in verbal warfare to keep their rivalry alive.

Jones who is active on Twitter reacted to Adesanya and his rival, Alex Pereira getting wins on the same night. Alex is now the favorite to challenge Israel for the middleweight title and will go down as one of the most iconic matchups. Izzy took his time on the mic at the post-fight octagon interview to warn the Brazilian by dropping a reference from the movie Frozen. Jones could not help but hit at Izzy on social media for his “cringe” line.

“Bro I just went back and watched Alex P fight!! Yeah I’m riding with him all day. He made it look way too easy. Really hard to believe he was unranked before this fight,” wrote Jones after being impressed with Pereira’s stunning left hook knockout of #4 ranked Strickland. Pereira was only two fights into the UFC before he got a shot at the top-ranked Sean. The Brazilian sure did show the world he was worthy of that shot.

After praising Adesanya’s nemesis, Jones clowned Adesanya’s attempt to threaten someone of Pereira’s demeanor with a silly punchline. The champion has been trolled on social media and his rivals for his appearance leading up to the fight. Jones too hopped on that train and implied Adesanya did not look “scary” with his glossy fingernails.

“Bro I can’t stop thinking about this shit. How are you going to threaten a guy like Alex with glossy fingernails and a frozen reference. I’m over here scratching my head,” wrote Jones in his tweet. What did you think about Adesanya’s UFC 276 call out of Pereira?
