Jon Jones is currently touring Australia to spread the love for martial arts. He visited the country to meet the fans there and express gratitude for their constant support. Recently, a clip of him tackling a rugby player from the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs team went viral on X. It was a meetup where ‘Bones’ shared his valuable wisdom with the players. Now, another video went viral on X of Jones having shots of alcohol with fans.
In the video, Jon Jones addressed some Australian fans, seemingly during the afternoon. He stood upon a stage-like structure and shared an alcohol shot with the fans. As usual, the fans cheered him on it, and Jones joined them in exciting the mood. However, this didn’t sit well with the netizens since another clip of ‘drunk’ Jones causing havoc during a comedy show made its rounds online.

Before he visited Australia, Jon Jones went to a stand-up show in Los Angeles. The famous comedian Dennis Fietosa, known as Def Noodles, held the show at his comedy club. As such, Jones showed up intoxicated and heckled the comedian throughout the show. However, Def Noodles presumed it was just a drunk guy and carried the show with a light heart. Only later did he know it was the UFC champion, Jon Jones. As such, he posted the incident on his YouTube channel.
The heavyweight champion Jon Jones is currently recovering from a pectoral injury he suffered last November. As a result, his scheduled UFC 295 bout with Stipe Miocic was canceled. However, he looked forward to fighting Miocic upon his return from injury. But, as of now, he has no exact timeline of his comeback.
Jon Jones open to fighting Tom Aspinall after his legacy fight with Stipe Miocic
Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic were to clash heads in UFC 295. But, ‘the fight ‘Bones’ pulled out of the fight after suffering an injury in training. As such, the UFC put forth an interim heavyweight title fight between Tom Aspinall and Sergei Pavlovich to replace their bout. The Englishman impressively won the fight via first-round knockout. Ever since he called out Jones to unify the heavyweight titles. But Jones wasn’t interested in him. But, now, he hinted at a possible chance to fight Aspinall.

In his recent interview with Submission Radio, Jon Jones addressed his future in the UFC and spoke about his retirement. Although many believed he would retire after fighting Stipe Miocic, ‘Bones’ hasn’t closed his doors on fighting Tom Aspinall. As such, he said everything depended on how he would feel after his injury.
Although Jon Jones gave Tom Aspinall some hope for his ‘dream fight,’ it would have to wait until he finished his business with Stipe Miocic. ‘Bones’ previously fought Ciryl Gane on his return from a three-year hiatus. It marked his heavyweight debut, and he grabbed the title with ease. However, he is yet to defend his title. As for Aspinall, he accepted the fight with Jones wouldn’t happen anytime soon and looked for other available options.
