Jon Jones is currently nursing the pectoral injury he suffered during wrestling training. The injury forced him out of his main event fight against Stipe Miocic at UFC 295. However, it did not stop the heavyweight champion from playing the drums gifted to him by Travis Barker. Through his marriage to Kourtney Mary Kardashian, Barker is the latest addition to the Kardashian-Jenner family.
Jones is friends with Barker and a friendly conversation reminiscing his younger days was the impetus for Barker gifting him Drums. In a recent X post that went viral, Jones was seen practicing the drums that Barker gifted him recently. Jones did play drums in Church growing up. In the video, the dressing of his surgical repaired pectoral muscle was also visible.
It is estimated that Jones would require a minimum of eight months to recover from the surgery. Dana White had already stated on record that the fight with Miocic would be rebooked for Jones on his return. This is because the UFC had already booked an interim heavyweight title between Tom Aspinall and Sergei Pavlovich as the co-main event of UFC 295.
When the news of Jones’s injury broke out, the UFC immediately elevated the co-main event of Jiri Prochazka vs Alex Pereira to the main event.
Francis Ngannou has become a hot commodity after his sensational boxing match against Tyson Fury. Now the talks of a cross-promotional bout between PFL and UFC featuring Ngannou and Jones are gaining traction. Fortunately, the current scenario is positively pointing to a potential Ngannou-Jones matchup in the future.

It needs to be noted that fighters do have skills outside the octagon. Israel Adesanya, the former UFC middleweight champion is a very good dancer. However, they have patched things up and have since become cordial.
