Logan Paul can feel good about himself as UFC veteran Jorge Masvidal believes the YouTuber can beat Paddy Pimblett in mixed martial arts.

Jorge Masvidal, one of the biggest superstars in UFC gave Logan Paul the privilege to host him on the YouTuber’s podcast, IMPAULSIVE. Paul’s crew hit Masvidal with a bunch of fighters’ names and asked Jorge’s opinion on them. Paddy Pimblett, the rising star from Liverpool was one of the names that were bought up on the podcast.

Masvidal thinks very highly of the fighter and believes he is a true entertainer. Pimblett is coming off a spectacular win against Rodrigo Vargas at UFC London. Pimblett showed the promotion that he has the entertainment skills to headline his own show at UFC London. The fighter has seen massive growth with only two fights in the UFC.

Paddy is already a fan favorite and is one to look out for in the future. “I think he is entertaining as f**k, he is wild,” said Jorge on the Impaulsive Podcast. Pimblett is currently 18-3-0 in his professional MMA career.

Despite thinking Paddy is one of the best entertainers in the business, Jorge does not think Paddy has what it takes to go all the way. “From the skills right now, I don’t see him being a world champion,” said Masvidal on the podcast. “But that could change right. I don’t think his skill set is not where it should be right now.”

Masvidal also believes Logan can take on the Liverpool fighter inside the octagon. “Yes. F**k yes. The wrestling, bro. English people can’t wrestle.” Masvidal however said the weight class could turn out to be a huge issue given Paddy fights at 155 lbs and Logan would probably enter the 185-pound category. Logan jumped in to suggest Paddy could move up given he walks around weighing a lot more during his off-season.

Paul has a wrestling background in college and also recently made his professional debut in pro-wrestling at Wrestlemania 38 in WWE. What do you think about this matchup? Watch the podcast below:
