Jorge Masvidal wants gasoline as his fight purse in his next fight as the prices keeps rising in the U.S. The U.S is currently struggling to cope up with the rising prices of gasoline throughout the country. The average price of gas in all of the states in the US is around $4 a gallon.

The prices are all set to break every past record. Many experts have also mentioned that the prices are most probably going to continue rising more. There is a possibility that it could get around $5 at the end of the year.

Earlier the average was $4. 41 which jumped to $4.58 in the last month. It has already broken the national record and concerns regarding it are increasing. On the other hand, Diesel prices have remained unchanged for a week now at $5.57.

Some of states with cheapest rates of gas are Oklahoma($4.03), Kansas ($4.04), Arkansas ($4.12) and Missouri (4.13). As the national records have already broken, many have assumed that it can also break the all time high cost of gasoline. In 2008, due to the great inflation, gas cost went up to $5 and with current rates this record is also under threat.

Masvidal recently took the Twitter in order to share his views regarding the excessive hike in the gas prices in the U.S.

Masvidal tweeted that in his next fight he would like to be paid in gasoline as the prices are so high.

” My next fight I want to get paid in gasoline,” wrote Masvidal.

Masvidal is one of the few UFC superstars who have always talked about the political as well as economical situations in the country. The fighter is a pro Trump supporter and never backs down to criticize Joe Biden and his policies.

Masvidal is one of top three paid fighters in the UFC and has earned that position for himself. Despite his current form and continuous losing streak, Masvidal is still holding on to that position. The ‘Gamebred’ is one of the biggest draws in UFC and helps the promotion by attracting massive crowds in the pay-per-view events.
