Jorge Masvidal- Nate Diaz

UFC Megastar Jorge Masvidal is all in for a fight and Nate Diaz can have his farewell through him in a rematch if the latter wants, since they both had a back and forth as well on Twitter not so long ago. Masvidal last fought at UFC 272 against Colby Covington where he lost the fight via unanimous decision and is unfortunately now on a 3-fight skid, so he is eagerly looking to get back in the win column. Masvidal is currently dealing with 3 felonies charged against him by Covington for assault allegations.

Diaz last fought in July 2021 at UFC 263 against upcoming UFC welterweight title challenger Leon Edwards where Diaz lost via unanimous decision as well, but the moment of the fight was seized by him when he almost wobbled Edwards with a straight punch. Diaz is however struggling to find a fight as he has reached the final bout of his ongoing contract and would most probably wish to put a halt on his UFC career for other avenues such as exhibition bouts.

In an interview with MMA Fighting’s THE MMA HOUR with Ariel Helwani, Masvidal talks about his future as a fighter, his current schedule as a promoter, his desire for a return fight either against Conor McGregor or Gilbert Burns, his reaction to Michel Pereira’s issues with him, and much more. But Masvidal also had thoughts about the ongoing feud Diaz has with the UFC for not giving him the fight.

“I think he’s got CTE,” says Masvidal “He probably can’t even f**king understand what’s put in front of him, I don’t know. I probably don’t take the UFC’s side as you know from my sink, but from what I have heard and seen, I’m like this guy’s just a f**king diva bro, just f**king fight you know I could sign him off in his last fight if he wants, you know.

All that sh*t talking he is doing lately. I wouldn’t mind breaking his f**king jaw and sending him off to whatever gambling casino he’s going to be fighting at or Indian reservation he will be headlining, I don’t mind. But he won’t sign when my name gets brought up again…” continued Masvidal.

What are your thoughts about a rematch between Masvidal and Diaz? Are you in for it? The 2 first fought back in 2019 at UFC 244 when Masvidal won via TKO due to a doctor stoppage at the end of the third round and became the then BMF- Baddest Motherf**ker- champion. Do you think if the rematch goes down, the fight will be any different from the first time these two met?
