“I’m not gonna be a mathematician”- Jorge Masvidal reveals why he dropped out of school

UFC welterweight contender Jorge Masvidal who recently lost to Colby Covington in a five-round main event was in the news for punching Colby outside of a restaurant. Jorge is a fight veteran having participated in over fifty MMA fights throughout his career and having won over thirty of them.
Recently in an interview with Logan Paul at his Podcast show, Impaulsive Jorge revealed the reason why he left school. He said, “I’m not going to be a mathematician but I can hire the mathematician.” He revealed once he got far enough in school he had no inclination towards academics as he was very much interested in working on his fighting career.
Jorge who is famously called ‘Gamebred’ is now on a three-fight losing streak. His last victory came against Nate Diaz which was the fight for the BMF belt. It’ll be interesting to watch who will be his next opponent and when he is going to enter the octagon again in the near future.

Jorge Masvidal lost to Colby Covington in the main event of UFC 272. Colby came out victorious after dominating Masvidal on the ground for the full course of twenty-five minutes. Colby even outstruck Jorge in their fight. Masvidal is now ranked number eight in the latest welterweight rankings of the UFC.
Recently in an interview given to Logan Paul talking about his latest loss, he said, “I was upset.” He further explained he was in isolation pondering where did it all go wrong for him in his fight. He was looking for a solution for his mistakes so he can fill the holes in his fighting style. He admitted that he always had problem-fighting wrestlers and he was working on it.
According to the interview, Jorge is going to go to Pennsylvania State University and work on his wrestling over there. It’ll be interesting to watch what changes has Jorge made to his game plan when he returns to the octagon in the near future.
