Former UFC BMF title holder Jorge Masvidal has an interesting way of finding fighters for his promotion. During his interview with Youtube boxer Jake Paul, Jorge Masvidal offered Jake’s employee a deal he couldn’t refuse. However, he had to complete a simple test prepared by Gamebred himself.

Jorge Masvidal prior to his retirement was UFC’s biggest draw after Conor McGregor. Masvidal consistently managed to do huge PPV numbers and even sold over a million PPVs as well. However, Masvidal soon went on a 4 fight-losing streak and retired from the fight game. He is currently promoting boxing and bare-knuckle MMA through his Gamebred promotion. His Gamebred Boxing 4 event a few months back, featured some of the biggest names from the world of boxing and MMA.

During his interview with Jake Paul, Jorge Masvidal was introduced to Jake Paul’s employee Derek who previously insulted veteran MMA fighter, Nick Diaz. Masvidal was impressed with Derek’s wild behaviour and made sure to present him with an opportunity. The King of Miami, made up his mind to offer Derek a fight with a Mexican cab driver in his next event. However, to get that fight under his belt Derek had to perform 10 clapping pushups.

To Jorge’s surprise, Derek completed the challenge with no sweat and was offered a fight deal. However, Masvidal offered Derek a bare-knuckle fight which caught the Betr employee off guard. ” I’m better with the gloves,” said Derek. Jake’s employee although hesitant agreed and had himself a fight from Gamebred promotion.

Jorge Masvidal and Jake Paul show interest in Elon Musk’s fight with Mark Zuckerberg

The potential war between billionaire tech giants Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg has been dominating the headlines for the last few days. With both the CEOs verbally agreeing to a fight over social media, many fighters have suggested offering their services and training the billionaires.

META CEO Mark Zuckerberg has been religiously practising Jiu-Jitsu for over a year. He has also won a gold medal in a BJJ competition as a white belt. Apart from his feats in Jiu Jitsu, Zuckerberg is also a huge fan of MMA and actively trains in MMA as well. Meanwhile, Elon Musk has stated that he is trained in a couple of martial arts. However, he has very less recent experience as compared to Mark. This is why several UFC fighters have come forth and offered to train Elon for the fight. King of Miami and former UFC bantamweight holder Jorge Masvidal has also made the same offer.

“ Elon Musk lmk (let me know )we get some work in,” posted Masvidal on his Twitter. Meanwhile, Jake Paul has different plans. Instead of helping Elon with the fight, he wants to promote the fight. “Elon I will gladly promote your fight against Zuck, we can do it in the PFL on ESPN+ for charity,” posted Jake. While Jake has put out the offer, both fighters have contacted UFC promoter Dana White to promote the fight. If ever the fight takes place, fans can expect a huge PPV event in UFC.
