“I’m the GOAT slayer”- Julianna Pena sends a warning to Amanda Nunes ahead of their rematch at UFC 277

Julianna Pena is eager to rock the MMA world on its axis once again by defeating Amanda Nunes in their rematch. The two champions are set to face off for the second time in the octagon on Saturday. The Venezuelan Vixen won the title by defeating the former double champ at UFC 269 in Round 2 at 03:26 by submission.
The Brazilian was riding on a 12-fight win streak before the fight. Her last loss in MMA came at the hands of Cat Zingano at UFC 178 in 2014. The Lioness bounced back from that loss by raking up wins over the biggest names in Women’s MMA. Her resume includes current and former champions such as Valentina Shevchenko, Meisha Tate, Chris Cyborg, Ronda Rousey, and Holly Holm.
In December of 2021 at UFC 269, The Venezuelan Vixen against the consensus defeated the Lioness. This was considered one of the biggest upsets in MMA history. The Lioness was a -1100 favorite going into the match while The Venezuelan was a +600 underdog.
While The Lioness cited medical issues for her performance. On the other hand, The Venezuelan Vixen did exactly what she told the world she was going to do. She believes she is going to repeat the results from the previous match at UFC 277.

Julianna Pena has claimed to slay the GOAT once again in a dominant fashion
The Venezuelan Vixen has previously stated that she believes both of them to be the best of the best. However, she still declares that she is going to walk out of the octagon on Saturday at UFC 277 with the belt on her waist. Leading up to the fight the champion has also amped up the trash talk.
In a recent interview given to TMZ Sports, when asked about their first matchup, the coming rematch between the two and the win instead of being a heavy underdog. The champion stated that the former champion is taking her seriously this time around. She also said that there’s mutual respect between the two.
The champion went ahead to laud the Lioness for her impressive resume. The champion further accepted that the Lioness as a G.O.A.T of women’s MMA. The Venezuelan Vixen further states that she’s a G.O.A.T slayer.
The champion stated, “She’s definitely has this resume of being the greatest of all time, and she has earned that and I absolutely respect her as a fighter. I think what she has accomplished is incredible, and I don’t know anybody else in the division or in the sport to have the resume that Amanda has made.“
She further states, “Amanda is definitely worthy of being called the greatest of all time but now that I’m here, I’m also worthy of being called the GOAT slayer.”
