“Doesn’t even have the power to shutout anyone,”- Justin Gaethje makes snarky comments about Nate Diaz as he is rumored to fight Khamzat Chimaev
Nate Diaz and Justin Gaethje
As UFC 274 is approaching everyone, has their eyes on the fighters. The pay-per-view is star-packed. In the main event, UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira will defend his belt against Justin Gaethje and in the co-main event, Rose Namajunas and Carla Esparza will go toe-to-toe against each other for the Women Strawweight title.
Justin Gaethje is arguably the most explosive guy in the Lightweight Division and Charles Oliveira is a submission artist with the most submission victories in the history of UFC. As both fighters collide on Saturday, the drama is far from over.
Gaethje recently had a back and forth on social media with UFC star Nate Diaz ahead of Justin’s fight at UFC 274. The issue started when Nate Diaz trolled Justin for his comment about Charles Oliveira before their fight on Saturday. Justin, in his recent interview with ESPN, claimed that Charles Oliveira would have to walk through hell as Khabib Nurmagomedov did against Justin Gaethje.

Diaz was quick to respond to this and mocked Justin by posting an Instagram story with the caption: “Bruh got triangle choke from the mount. What he talking about?.” Justin then said Nate is jealous and responded to Diaz on his Twitter account by tweeting: “I ain’t your bruh you jealous b**ch @NateDiaz209.”
As UFC 274 is just around the corner, the internet battle has once again arisen. Responding to a question in the UFC 274 press meet, Justin said, Diaz is not worthy of criticizing Justin because he himself dogged Khabib 20 times and has 15 losses in his career.
Justin said: “That guy lost over 15 times like come on so for him to be criticizing me for one lose I found it funny and I think he’s jealous because he’s done, he’ll never be here, he’ll never be fighting for a world championship and he’ll never achieve a world championship. I heard he Khabib about 20 times so for him to on me for losing to Khabib I find that hilarious.”
Justin Gaethje is surprised that the UFC is thinking about a fight between Nate Diaz and Khamzat Chimaev
Nate Diaz has been recently looking for a fighter to fight his last fight in the UFC. Nate has a last fight left in his contract before it expires and the UFC fighter has shown interest in leaving the organization. Diaz was about to fight Dustin Poirier in his last fight and everything was set for them to have a banger. However, the fight was never made and Nate is still looking for an opponent.
A rumor has been going on that Nate will fight Khamzat Chimaev at UFC 276 on July 2, 2022. The rumor started when UFC President Dana White recently appeared on the Pivot Podcast on Tuesday and accidentally revealed several upcoming fights when viewers noticed the boss’ War Room whiteboard in the background. Among the line-ups for upcoming events was a co-main event slot at UFC 276 on July 2, 2022, occupied by Diaz versus Khamzat Chimaev.
Reacting to the fight, Justin revealed he believes Khamzat will cruise over Nate Diaz in this potential match-up. When asked about the Nate winning, Justin said: “He doesn’t even have the power to shut. I mean to shut someone’s light out on accident. You know, so no chance; he is a zero percent chance.”
