Justin Gaethje and Jorge Masvidal do not like each other. Gaethje once again trashed Masvidal ahead of BMF title fight against Max Holloway.

Each day, current ‘BMF’ champion Justin Gaethje edges just a little closer to battling it out with Max Holloway. ‘The Highlight’ defends his silver strap at the historic UFC 300 card. As such, the lightweight knockout artist recently addressed Holloway’s UFC 300 wish and used it to mock former BMF title holder Jorge Masvidal.

Justin Garthje is settling well into the notion that Mark Coleman should present the title to the winner of their UFC 300 showdown. Holloway presented the idea after Coleman’s heroic efforts to save his parents. Gaethje liked the idea but didn’t want Jorge Masvidal to present it. 

I love it, Absolutely... The guy [Coleman] has fought so many times and he’s such a warrior in the cage and what he went through. I would love for him to do that... That’s a great idea. Best idea Max has had in a while....I’ll definitely enjoy it more than (Jorge) Masvidal putting it on me...I know that. He's a f**king loser...

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson presented the belt in the inaugural ‘BMF’ matchup. Masvidal, who vacated the belt, wrapped it around Gaethje after his win over Dustin Poirier at UFC 291. The 3rd time around, he doesn’t want ‘Gamebred’ to do so. Masvidal issued violent ultimatums after his retirement and vowed to return and take the title away from Gaethje.

Recently, Coleman himself informed (via IG) that he and his daughters received invites for UFC 300 PPV. So, Holloway’s wish might get granted by the UFC and Masvidal might not be the one to wrap it around the winner. Regardless of that, Holloway and Gaethje have grand plans for their upcoming super fight.

Justin Gaethje has violent resolves, while Max Holloway has 2-division glory in mind

Max Holloway returns to the lightweight scene after five years. While speaking to Kevin Iole of Yahoo Sports, he prompted being ready for both the featherweight division and lightweight division. He currently faces Justin Gaethje for the ‘BMF’ title.

A win over Gaethje could likely put him in the lightweight rankings since the fight is contested at 155 pounds. That means he could become a top-five fighter in both divisions. He would likely receive a title shot against new champ Ilia Topuria in the future. As such, Holloway might get to pursue his dream of winning two titles if defeats Gaethje at UFC 300.

While ‘Blessed’ has high-reaching goals, he faces an opponent with brutal intentions. Justin Gaethje aims to inflict as much damage on Holloway as possible. Moreover, he has predicted a doctor stoppage win over Holloway. With the win, he aims to fight for the lightweight championship at the end of the year. Only time will tell which scenario becomes a reality after UFC 300.
