Former US President Donald Trump has immense support from the UFC community. Trump has received big applause in his recent appearance on UFC PPV events. Popular UFC fighters Jorge Masvidal, Colby Covington, Beneil Dariush, and Justin Gaethje, among others, are huge supporters of Trump. Moreover, Trump also has the support of his longtime friend Dana White, the CEO of the UFC. Trump recently made remarks about his Republic’s primary rival, Nikki Haley, and her husband, which created controversy.
UFC BMF champion Justin Gaethje has sided with Trump in the controversy. Trump made statements about Nikki Haley, including a mention of Haley’s husband, which elicited a strong reaction from Haley. Gaethje has now made his support evident for Trump in a recent tweet. This is what he tweeted.
I wonder if these words hurt her husband more than finding out his wife was fucking around while overseas serving this great nation. No bigger form of disrespect for me.Justin Gaethje via X
Gaethje has forever been a supporter of Donald Trump. Gaethje’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz, is also a very big Trump supporter. Abdelaziz has even claimed that Israeli-Palestinian would never have happened if Trump was the President of the USA.
Gaethje will look to defend his BMF title against Max Holloway at UFC 300. The PPV also has a number one contender lightweight fight between Charles Oliveira and Arman Tsarukyan. Gaethje believes that all the aforementioned names have the chance to contend for the undisputed title next.
Justin Gaethje visited Chechen dictator Ramzan Kadyrov’s facility
Chechen dictator Ramzan Kadyrov is a big fan of MMA. As such, he has supported UFC fighters like Khamzat Chimaev and Magomed Ankalev, to name a few. In addition to the Russian fighters, American fighters like Justin Gaethje, Kamaru Usman, and Henry Cejudo have met with Kadyrov at the behest of Kadyrov’s invitation.
The mainstream media criticized the American fighters for the meeting with Kadyrov sometime in 2022. Videos circulated on social media of Gaethje, Usman, and Cejudo shooting guns and bazookas under the watchful eye of the Chechen Special Forces. Pictures of Gaethje with the sons of Kadyrov circulate on the internet.
Gaethje’s former opponent, Khabib Nurmagomedov, also has an acquaintance with Kadyrov. Kadyrov attended UFC 242 in UAE when Nurmagomedov defeated Dustin Poirier. Gaethje’s most recent fight was with Poirier at UFC 291. Gaethje knocked out Poirier in the second round of the main event to become the new BMF champion.
