Justin Gaethje and Charles Oliveira are ready for UFC 274 as both the fighters face each other on Saturday for the Lightweight title. Charles Oliveira will defend his title for the second time after successfully defending the belt against Dustin Poirier at UFC 269.
Justin Gaethje will fight his second title fight after losing the first fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 254. Khabib announced his retirement after winning the fight against Gaethje.
After Khabib’s retirement, Charles Oliveira was given the title shot against Michael Chandler at UFC 262. Charles Oliveira defeated Michael Chandler in the main event of UFC 262 to become the new lightweight champion, ending the fight by TKO in 19 seconds into the second round. Charles then defended his title against Dustin Poirier at UFC 269 by submitting Dustin in the third round.
Justin has been incredible in his recent fights. He defeated Michael Chandler at UFC 268 after dominating the fight for three rounds. Justin won the fight by unanimous decision and judges scored the fight 30-27, 29-28, and 29-28 in favor of Justin Gaethje. This battle became the 2021 Fight of the year.
Justin has been in tremendous form with his only recent loss coming from former UFC Lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, Justin has defeated fighters like Tony Ferguson, Michael Chandler, and Donald Cerrone in the past few years, and is now looking to secure the Title weight belt against Charles Oliveira.

As UFC 274 is only a short distance away, Fighters are ready for the Pre-Fight requisites. The Main card is star-packed and has two titles on the line. Charles Oliveira will defend his Lightweight belt against Justin Gaethje and women Strawweight champion Rose Namajunas will go toe-to-toe against Carla Esparza for the Strawweight title. The pre-Fight Press Conference took place on Thursday and all fighters answered the questions asked by the media.

Talking about his fight with Charles Oliveira, Justin Gaethje said that he is ready for the war and has prepared for everything Charles brings into the octagon. Justin even acknowledged the Champion and appreciated him for the transformation he has shown in himself.
Justin said: “This man is the champion for a reason and every criticism I’ve ever had is for him as a child. We were talking about a kid; he came here 20 21 22 years old. Now we’re talking about a man with confidence, one of the best in the world. He is the champion right now, can’t wait to take what he has and this will be my biggest accomplishment.”
As excitement grows, Justin Gaethje and Charles Oliveira wait to face each other on Sunday for one of the biggest Lightweight fights in UFC history.
