Charles Oliveira has a huge challenge of defending his lightweight belt against the dangerous Justin Gaethje. The two will go head to head in the main event of UFC 274 at the Footprint Arena in Phoenix, Arizona. The former interim lightweight champion recently sat down with broadcaster, Megan Olivi in an interview for ESPN MMA.

Justin believes he is very prepared for the dangers Charles has to offer inside the octagon. Prior to Oliveira’s title defense against Dustin Poirier, Gaethje said that he believes Charles is a quitter. Ahead of his fight, though Gaethje has more respect for the Brazilian, he still thinks Do Bronx can be made to quit inside the octagon.

“He didn’t even get knocked out, he quit sometimes,” said Gaethje. “The choice to quit is something that one makes and once you make it you can make it again because you know that it’s there.”

Justin believes he is the right matchup for Oliveira to show the world he can quit inside the octagon. “I am the perfect guy to show it to him and I will show it to him on May 7th. I have to stay out of the grappling positions, obviously but I am going to put a hole right in his face and it is going to be glorious,” said Justin talking to Megan Olivi.

Justin is coming off an amazing win against Michael Chandler who also fought Oliveira for the vacant lightweight title. Chandler managed to drop Oliveira in the first round and almost knocked him out. However, Charles showed that he had tremendous heart and bounced back to submit him to become the 11th UFC lightweight champion.

Justin does not look over the dangers that Oliveira presents inside the octagon and praises him for all the work he has done. Watch the full interview below:
