Following his time away from the octagon due to injuries, Justin is prepared to make a comeback the next year and has identified the two lightweights he would consider facing.

According to MMA journalist Jose Youngs, Justin Gaethje has named two UFC lightweights who would be the most logical opponents for him when he returns to the octagon. Jose Youngs tweeted,”Justin Gaethje tells us [that] both Rafael Fiziev and Charles Oliveira [will] make sense for his next fight.”

The amazing one-round fight between Gaethje and “Do Bronx” from earlier this year would be loved to be replayed, but the Brazilian has already said he plans to take a brief sabbatical from the ring.

The rising prospect Rafael Fiziev could cause the former interim lightweight champion some issues. His strong striking, quickness, and reflexes will be a concern. Fiziev is currently in his best run of form inside the octagon, having triumphed in each of his last six fights.

Gaethje has developed a reputation for being able to handle any situation while still making his opponents’ lives miserable inside the cage during his career. When Justin makes his return to action he’ll probably do the same.
