“Help me help you,” Kevin Holland still ups his offer for a fight with Nate Diaz

Nate Diaz- Kevin Holland
Kevin Holland is someone who would fight anyone at the welterweight division, especially now that he has improved exponentially in the grappling department, so it’s fair for him to target a submission specialist. Not only that, a submission specialist who’s also a UFC megastar. Holland last fought to steal the show at UFC Fight Night Austin when he defeated the very durable Tim Means via submission in the second round.
Holland’s rise to fame stems from his 5-0 run in the year 2020, which was the peak of the Covid pandemic. Holland then faced a tough time without a single victory in 2021, but came back stronger and so far is 2-0 in 2022. Holland has wins over the likes of Means, Alex Oliveira, Joaquin Buckley, Ronaldo Souza, Darren Stewart, Anthony Hernandez and many more. Holland was doing fights between welterweight and middleweight until he decided to stay at 170 lbs.

Kevin Holland wants the Nate Diaz fight after hearing the latter’s frustration at THE MMA HOUR

Not long ago, UFC megastar Nate Diaz gave an interview for MMA Fighting’s special edition of THE MMA HOUR with Ariel Helwani, there Diaz talked about being in a conflict with the UFC who’s not able to give his final fight to end his current fight contract inside the Octagon. Diaz told in the interview that the only worthy opponents he finds are UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya and UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou. Diaz also started an online slogan on Twitter by the name of #FreeNateDiaz.
Holland took to Twitter to use the hashtag and put it up on a photoshopped image of him pulling Diaz out of a jail. In the caption, Diaz wrote, “Help me help you @NateDiaz209“
What do you make of a fight between Holland and Diaz? Do you think it’s an interesting matchup? Who do you think wins? Where do you put Diaz amongst the most recognizable names in MMA history? Diaz is planning to try his hands in exhibition boxing once he is out of his UFC contract. Most likely, Diaz would be loving to fight Youtuber-cum-boxer Jake Paul, how do you think that goes? Do you see Holland becoming a world champion in the future?
