“5 more rounds please,” Khabib Nurmagomedov and more react to Mateusz Gamrot & Arman Tsarukyan’s battle of 2 elite new generation talent

UFC Lightweights Mateusz Gamrot and Arman Tsarukyan gave their hearts out in a technical back and forth at the main event of UFC Vegas 57. With the fans being kept on the edge of their seats, UFC’s matchmaking just hit the right notes by choosing these 2 fastest-rising prospects of the 155 lbs division for giving the fans what they wanted, an intense high paced fight for 25 straight minutes! At the end of what can be called the most challenging fight in terms of scoring, the judges gave a unanimous decision nod to Gamrot.

Gamrot is now 21-1 with a no-contest in his overall MMA career and is the former KSW featherweight and lightweight champion. Gamrot has aspirations of becoming the third Polish UFC fighter to become champion after the likes of the great women’s strawweight Joanna Jedrzejczyk and former light-heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz. Gamrot fights out of the American Top Team where he trains with the likes of Jorge Masvidal, Dustin Poirier, Jedrzejczyk and many more under the tutelage of coach Mike Brown.

The fans were certainly gone excited with how the fight was just being a constant turn of tables from one moment to another, alternatively in favour of Gamrot and Tsarukyan. However, Mateusz Gamrot showed a clear advantage in wrestling over Tsarukyan as the latter was clearly one of the toughest guys to be taken down going into this fight, but Gamrot managed to score 6 takedowns throughout. Tsarukyan did some damage with huge body kicks and one huge spinning back fist but Gamrot managed to eat the shots and overcome the adversity.
