Recently, the news of the documentary based on Khabib Nurmagomedov was announced by Dana White when he was live on Instagram. Now the former lightweight champion has further provided details of it.

Khabib in his latest Instagram post provided a positive response to the proposed documentary based on his life. The post’s caption stated, “The documentary is set to be released in Summer 2024, inshallah,” with the caption written in Russian. The post featured images of Khabib Nurmagomedov’s entourage of Dagestani fighters. Khabib who has a huge fan base in Asia and the Middle East is the most famous practicing Muslim fighter in the world. The fight with Conor McGregor was his ticket to super-stardom.

Conor McGregor released his documentary earlier this year. Following that, a documentary on Israel Adesanya was also recently revealed. Given the ongoing trend of producing documentaries for different UFC superstars, it is highly likely that fighters such as Jorge Masvidal, the Diaz brothers, and other notable contenders will also have documentaries made, delving into their lives and careers. Khabib’s documentary, especially, has the potential to be immensely successful in Asia and the Middle East.

After Khabib, nobody has been able to replicate his level of superstardom in the Middle East. The UFC has fighters like Khamzat Chimaev, Islam Makhachev, and Umar Nurmagomedov. These fighters have the potential to fill the gap left by Khabib’s void.

In his recent interview with Patrick Bet-David, Khabib Nurmagomedov spoke about a wide range of subjects. Khabib was proud to be a traditional person from the mountains of Dagestan. He spoke highly of his conservative worldview.

When asked about the role of the father in the life of his children, he had the view that the role is different for son and daughter. The father should be a little bit tough on his son. On the other hand, he should be soft and open to his daughter. He also spoke about the belief that one’s mother is the most important person in their life.

Khabib’s success in MMA is the result of the training he received from his father, Abdulmanap and the love he received from his mother. His love for his mother is evident by the fact that he retired from MMA when she asked him to. His life documentary will be released in 2024 and additional aspects of his life will become accessible to the public.
