Khabib Nurmagomedov is very confident in his teammate Islam Makhachev’s skills to take out Charles Oliveira in a potential lightweight title fight.
Charles Oliveira is the real deal in the lightweight division. He certainly has made himself “THE MAN TO BEAT” as he continues his amazing run as the number one fighter in the lightweight division. Oliveira has been getting a lot of shouts for being the greatest lightweight of all time and Khabib Nurmagomedov who is widely known as the GOAT of the 155-pound division has some bold predictions to make.
Nurmagomedov has retired from potential fighting and is currently helping his teammates reach the top of the fighting game. Islam Makhachev who is also claimed by many aces of the game to be the next lightweight champion is also cornered by Khabib. The Eagle believes Islam should be next to fight Oliveira for the vacant title.
Charles, despite his win against Justin Gaethje at UFC 274 has been stripped of the UFC belt as he failed to make championship weight by 0.5 pounds at controversial weigh-ins. The Dagestani legend believes Islam could finish Oliviera in a fight.

In a recent Instagram story, Khabib reposted the battle of words between Islam and Charles on Twitter and added his opinion on a fight between the two of them. “My prediction is a maximum of 3 rounds, no matter how good he is Islam is better than him. Just remember these words,” wrote Khabib on his Instagram story.
It is worth mentioning that Charles Oliveira has not lost a fight in the octagon since 2017. The last time Oliveira was finished, he met Paul Felder at UFC 218 where he got knocked out in the second round. Islam too has not lost a fight since 2015. The Dagestani is on a 10-fight winning streak. Makhachev has also finished all of his four opponents.
