UFC Hall of Famer Khabib Nurmagomedov is one of the greatest fighters to have stepped inside the octagon in MMA history, arguably the greatest Russian mixed martial artist alongside heavyweight legend Fedor Emelianenko. Nurmagomedov retired from the sport undefeated and with the record of the most 10-8 rounds throughout his MMA career and also retired at the top by staying the UFC champion with the most title defences.

Nurmagomedov won over the likes of Dustin Poirier, Conor McGregor, Justin Gaethje, Rafael Dos Anjos, Gleison Tibau, Edson Barboza, Michael Johnson and many more. Nurmagomedov currently holds the Presidency over Eagle FC, a Russian MMA promotion that has been making major waves in America as well and has signed the likes of Rashad Evans, Junior Dos Santos, Tyrone Spong, Kevin Lee, Diego Sanchez and many more.

He talks about his days back as an active fighter and how he touched the extremity of discipline and hard work in his life to achieve all that he has today. Khabib is officially getting his Hall of Fame jacket from the UFC on the occasion of International Fight Week next month.

“I remember, I was training morning, I go home, rest, I come, I train in the night time, I go home and I was like- No, it’s not enough 2 times, I have to go one more time,” says Khabib Nurmagomedov “Sometimes 12, 11:00 P.M. Sometimes I was going, I remember like to the training, I train 3 time in the day, come home, okay I have 5-6 hours of rest, because 7:00 AM, it’s gonna become new training. I sacrificed everything that I have. I was sleep, train, eat, repeat and that’s it

“I think it’s about mental, your brain, how you think about this. Do you want this or not? There’s not like 50/50,” concludes Khabib.
