Highly touted UFC fighter Khamzat Chimaev will soon make his debut in the middleweight division. Borz has no loss on his record and belongs to the group of the few fighters who remain undefeated. While Khamzat has gained the size for his middleweight debut, he happens to have some issues with his power. Turns out Chimaev cannot channel his strength when it comes to hitting punching machines.

With only four fights in UFC, Chimaev was tested against the number 2 ranked UFC fighter Gilbert Burns. While Burns made sure Khamzat does not have it easy, Borz managed to win the bout via split decision. For his next fight, Chimaev was offered Nate Diaz. However, as he failed to make weight, Chimaev had to fight Holland at a catch weight.

With Khamzat failing to make 170lbs, Dana White revealed Chimaev’s next fight to be at 185lbs. Borz has no issue making 185 lbs, yet he seems to be taking his bulk quite seriously. Khamzat recently gave his fans a physique update where he looked jacked. However, despite the muscle, Khamzat does not seem to have the power as of yet.

The UFC fighter tried his hand at the punching machine to see where he stands. Khamzat backed up and landed a big right hand on the machine, which gave him over 850 points. While it is a good score, it’s not great. “Too weak brother,“ said one of the guys in the audience. Khamzat surely has some room to improve his striking. On the plus side, he has quite the elite grappling. He will soon fight Paulo Costa next and both fighters already have an ongoing feud.

UFC middleweight fighter Paulo Costa will be fighting undefeated fighter Khamzat Chimaev on October 21st. The bout between Costa and Chimaev was in talks for a very long time as both fighters have a history. However, with the fight confirmed, Paulo Costa has started trolling with his relentless meme game.

Costa has become famous amongst the masses for his memes and continues to attract more fans. The Brazilian fighter recently took to Instagram and posted a picture of Khamzat Chimaev in Barbie packaging. “I’m gonna bring a new Chen Chen Barbie for my darling niece, October 21st,” posted Costa. With the Barbie movie making big bucks and running successfully in the theaters, Costa’s meme landed on the spot.

Fans loved Costa’s creativity and appreciated his efforts in trolling Chimaev. With both fighters almost engaging in an altercation at the UFC P.I. in 2022, it is safe to say none of the fighters will go easy on the other. Chimaev will take on Paulo Costa in the co-main event of UFC 294, Abu Dhabi.
