“Who wants to fight?”- Khamzat Chimaev calls upon Israel Adesanya and Kamaru Usman to accept a fight against him

UFC Welterweight Khamzat Chimaev just went through a war in his last fight against former title challenger Gilbert Burns at UFC 274 but it doesn’t take “Borz” that long to get ready for fighting back again, case in point, he has returned to making wild callouts on Twitter. Chimaev, who’s 11-0 undefeated with 10 finishes last went on to secure the first decision victory of his career when he defeated Burns via unanimous decision, in a fight many have already called the best of 2022 so far.
Chimaev is now expected to fight for another top-ranked opponent, which most probably is going to be the #1 ranked welterweight and former 2-time welterweight title challenger Colby Covington, as was claimed by UFC President Dana White before UFC 273. Covington as of now is going through legal procedures on the occasion of being attacked by UFC megastar Jorge Masvidal last to last month which has caused him a “brain injury.”
However, #5 ranked welterweight Belal Muhammad is just coming off a huge unanimous decision win against Vicente Luque in a rematch in which he avenged his loss. Since both Chimaev and Muhammad are seasoned wrestlers, that can be the next fight to make. Muhammad has also called out to fight Chimaev on multiple occasions
After a tough last fight, can Khamzat Chimaev defeat the elites?
On Twitter, Chimaev uploaded a video of him facing off against Burns in between the rounds at UFC 273. In the caption, Chimaev wrote “Who wants to fight? @stylebender @USMAN84kg“ calling out UFC welterweight champion and pound for pound king, Kamaru Usman and UFC middleweight champion, Israel Adesanya. Usman so far is impressed with Chimaev’s performance against Burns, but he has a job ahead to take care of as he will face #2 ranked welterweight Leon Edwards in his next title defence.
Adesanya on the other hand is not bothered about Chimaev’s presence at all and feels that he should not worry about him until Chimaev makes a move at middleweight and takes on the 185lbs division. Who do you think Chimaev should fight next if the Colby Covington fight doesn’t happen next?
