Chechen superstar Khamzat Chimaev is all set to make his official middleweight debut at UFC 294. Chimaev is known for his superior grappling skills and ability to dominate opponents in the Octagon. He is set to face middleweight contender Paulo Costa in Abu Dhabi. He recently posted a video of him training for the fight and issued a warning to Costa during the video.
During the video, Chimaev showed off his lavish lifestyle and trained with his coaches showing off his strength. After a long session of training, Chimaev issued a warning to his opponent. He said, “Paulo, you dead man, be sure to come up to the cage. I’m going to beat you and send you back in a package to Brazil. In Brazil, they don’t want you. But now you are coming to my country, Muslims brother, we’re coming for you”. He then resumed his training and started his strength and conditioning.
Chimaev is known for his scary demeanor and determination to be the best. He dominated his opponents in every possible way in the Octagon and finishes them. His fights against Kevin Holland and Li Jingliang are some of the highlights of his career. However, Chimaev’s hardest test was Gilbert Burns who gave him a tough fight. Despite Burns’s excellent performance, Chimaev was the better fighter.
Both Chimaev and Paulo Costa will be fighting after almost a year-long break and will look to continue winning. The winner of the fight may also be next in line to challenge for the middleweight championship. Fans will look forward to seeing the fighters face off against each other soon.
Khamzat Chimaev has trained with Sean Strickland

Chimaev has trained at many different gyms with multiple fighters from the UFC. He has been described as one of the toughest fighters to spar during training. Chimaev has also trained with current middleweight champion Sean Strickland before he won the title.
Borz is known for training twelve months a year and met Strickland while sparring. Strickland revealed that Chimaev is a very strong training partner. He met with Borz while training at the Xtreme Couture gym and jokingly told him to take it easy on his training partners. Strickland jokingly told the Chechen fighter to not hurt people and to be nice.
It is possible that the two might meet each other in the cage soon in the future as Chimaev wants to win the title. However, he has to prove himself by defeating Costa in their match at UFC 294. Fans will look forward to seeing Borz fight for the belt soon.
