Khamzat Chimaev is unimpressed by “TERRIBLE” UFC 279 main event, Nate Diaz should “Thank God” he avoided the fight

CHimaev wasn't happy with Nate or Tony's main event performance ad let it be known at the post fight press conference
Khamzat Chimaev was the biggest loser and the most dominant winner, throughout UFC 279 fight week. Khamzat was supposed to be the home coming king for the weekend with him getting a win over a big name lie Nate Diaz, however, after his miss at the sales, he became the one everyone was calling to be put on a spike.
Chimaev, weighed in at 8 lbs over the welterweight limit, and this caused him to be demoted to a co-main event spot against Kevin Holland ,with Ferguson taking his spot against Nate in the main-event. However Chimaev did what he could with what was left and delivered a dominant performance to shut everyone up.
In classic Khamzat fashion, he was the aggressor from the opening buzzer and had another fight where his opponent failed to land a single strike on him. Chimaev, ragdolled Holland, taking him down and slamming him to the canvas at will. Ultimately he ended the fight with a quick submission in the very first round.

After the fight Chimaev was all hyped up, even comparing himself to boxing greats Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson. He carried the saem energy to the post fight press conference where he had a lot of things to say about the incidents of the week. Notably he dismissed fan criticism laid at him as he believed them to be very fickle.
Chimaev was also asked for his opinion on the main event between Fergusom amd Diaz that was supposed to originally star him, suffice to say he was not happy. Chimaev openly said that he was not impressed by either of their performances calling both of them ,“Slow and old guys”
“You see Diaz fight, those guys? Old guys? I’ll never understand how they keep these guys”, said Khamzat as he expressed disbelief that the UFC still keeps around fighters out of their prime with the organization. “If Diaz and Holland fought, Holland would beat him, easy, I finoshed him (Holland) so easily, Diaz should thank god he did not fight me”, said Chimaev commenting on the main event
Chimaev later added that the MMA scene in his region, i.e. the caucuses would never keep around guys like Ferguson and Diaz and that fans would “kill anyone” who mentioned their name.
