Among all the UFC fans and elite reacting to the insane main event of UFC 278, Khamzat Chimaev too has reacted to this fight. In the main event of UFC 278, two Welterweight elites were in action battling it out for the Welterweight crown. The P4P king and 170lbs champion Kamaru Usman was taking on #2 Leon Edwards.

Edwards and Usman have locked horns in the octagon before in 2015. Their first meeting didn’t went Rocky’s way as he was outwrestled and controlled for the better part of the fight. Although he started the fight on a pretty good note and landed some good shots in the first round. However, in the latter rounds, the Nigerian just took control of the fight.

In the rematch, Edwards seemed as a better fighter even taking down the Nigerian in the first round. He became the first fighter in the UFC to take the champion down. As the fight progressed we started seeing the same fate for the Brit as in 2015. The Nigerian was exhausting the challenger with his pressure and takedowns.

When it seemed like another successful title defence for the champion, Rocky pulled an upset like no other and head-kicked the champion into oblivion with a minute left in the last round. He became the second fighter from the UK to win UFC gold.
