“Did bro hunt a rabbit with damn assault rifle?” – UFC star Khamzat Chimaev showing off animal killing to troll opponent draws wild fan reactions

Recently, Khamzat Chimaev affirmed to fight for the middleweight title next. As such, he had keen eyes on the upcoming title fight between Sean Strickland and Dricus Du Plessis. But, both the champion and title challenger claimed Chimaev was undeserving of a title shot. Ever since then, an animosity has existed between them. Now, ‘Borz’ shared a hunting picture and jibed at Du Plessis.

In Khamzat Chimaev’s recent X post, he posed with a hunted rabbit in his hands. He also had a gun in his hand and flaunted his kill like a hunter. Although it looked like a cool hunt picture, the captions were the main attraction. He wrote ‘Dipilsi‘ referring to Dricus Du Plessis, followed by a laughing emoji.

Presumably, Khamzat Chimaev hinted at beating Dricus Du Plessis in their potential fight. But also, the circumstances of Du Plessis fighting for the title might’ve made ‘Borz’ salty. For context, the UFC promised the winner of Chimarev vs. Kamaru Usman a title shot. As such, Chimaev won the fight but lost his opportunity to fight for the title due to an injury. So, ‘Borz’ taunted Du Plessis for getting the title shot amidst his absence.

Khamzat Chimaev last won his fight against Kamaru Usman at UFC 294. Although it was their first time-fighting at middleweight, the UFC offered the winner a shot at the title next. As such, Chimaev grabbed the opportunity and won the fight via Majority decision. However, he suffered a hand injury, restricting his participation in the next title fight. As such, he believed he would be next in line for the winner of Sean Strickland vs. Dricus Du Plessis. This fight goes down in UFC 297 this weekend in Toronto, Canada.

Fans react to Khamzat Chimaev’s troll of Dricus Du Plessis

Although Khamzat Chimaev believed he would fight for the middleweight title next, the challenger, Dricus Du Plessis, declined him. In a recent interview, ‘Still Knocks’ criticized Chimaev’s win in UFC 294 and claimed he didn’t fight a legit middleweight. So, he dismissed him of a title shot. Soon, ‘Borz’ took to X to fire back. Now again, Chimaev trolled Du Plessis with a hunting picture.

Khamzat Chimaev, in the picture, hunted a rabbit with a gun and showed off his kill. He analogized the rabbit to Dricus Du Plessis and mocked the title challenger. This troll from ‘Borz’ received a huge response among the fighting fans. As such, here are some interesting fan reactions:

Fight fans also joined Khamzat Chimaev in trolling Dricus Du Plessis. However, a few were unsure about the troll and doubted whether it was intended for Du Plessis. The two middleweights might soon meet inside the octagon to settle their differences.
