The only name that is currently going around the combat space is PFL overnight superstar Cedric Doumbe. The Frenchman knocked out his opponent, Jordan Zebo, in just nine seconds on his PFL debut. The whole arena went berserk, including footballer Kylian Mbappe as Doumbe announced himself to the entire world. After his win over the weekend, Doumbe is already looking forward to his next fights. The Frenchman has called out some of the biggest names in combat sports for his next potential fight.

Doumbe said, “I want to make big fights before that $1 million season. Fight guys like (Jorge) Masvidal, Nate Diaz, and maybe Anthony Pettis. I know I can knock them out. I want to show the world who I am.” The likes of Diaz, Masvidal, and Pettis can make great opponents for Doumbe who is currently on the lookout for big fights.

However, most of these fighters are past their prime. ‘Gamebred’ recently hung his gloves up after his loss against Gilbert Burns at UFC 287. Nate Diaz, after his retirement from the UFC, made an appearance in boxing against YouTuber Jake Paul. However, one of the names that Doumbe mentioned competes in the PFL, i.e. Anthony Pettis. A potential fight between the two could most probably take place due to the same affiliation.
