Former UFC champion Michael Bisping warned Tyson Fury about making a significant mistake by underestimating Francis Ngannou. Bisping referenced Fury booking his next fight against Usyk. Fury will fight Francis on October 28 in Saudi Arabia, and Fury plans to stay undefeated.
Fury booked his next fight against Oleksandr Usyk, who has become a dominant force in the heavyweight division. Michael Bisping considered this a pure mockery of an MMA fighter. He stated in his interview that this type of act was very inappropriate towards the opponent and utterly disrespectful. Bisping said on his YouTube channel, “He does not take him seriously; he does not respect the threat of Francis. The former champion thought that Fury did not respect Francis Ngannou. Bisping said, “He’s taking the piss. He doesn’t give him any credit whatsoever.”
Michael Bisping asked why someone would book a new fight before knowing the match’s outcome. Francis might not be a great boxer, but he has formidable power and cannot be underestimated. Ngannou, under Mike Tyson‘s training camp, has the ability to knockout Fury. Let’s see how the former UFC heavyweight champion performs in the boxing ring.
Let’s wait for October 28 and witness a great showdown between the two marvelous heavyweights. Fury is considered the favorite for the matchup, but no fighter should be underestimated. Upsets are part of the sport; only time will tell if Ngannou shocks the world.
Mike Tyson talks about Francis Ngannou’s training camp for Tyson Fury fight
Mike Tyson revealed his experience with Ngannou during the whole camp on his YouTube channel. Tyson believed he was molding a new-era fighter for the heavyweight division. Francis was confident enough to take on a new challenge and enjoy the experience of the new sport.
Francis responded to the audience’s view of being underestimated and seen as an amateur. He quoted being rejected by many boxing coaches due to his inability in the sport. Francis said, “The audience doubted me when I made my UFC debut, and I became the champion; the same will happen here.” Then Mike Tyson added, “The pressure on him is massive, but that’s the beauty of the sport—who can survive those 12 rounds?”
However, both fighters have an equal amount of pressure on them. Fury could regret the fight his whole life if he lost to Ngannou. On the other hand, Ngannou has the challenging task of facing the best heavyweight boxer on the planet. It’s safe to say fans are excited for the showdown on October 28th.
