The PRIME hydration beverage introduced by Logan Paul and KSI has risen in popularity. They have scored huge brand deals and partnerships with the UFC and other European football teams. They signed a seven-figure deal with the UFC in January. Paul met with Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanovski and signed them as “PRIME Athletes.” Champion dietitian Jordan Sullivan has come out with strong words for the beverage.

Sullivan, or “The Fight Dietitian” as he is known, popularly described how the essential nutrients from the beverage do not enter the bloodstream. He said, “Blood is important when we talk about rehydration, the nutrients don’t go directly from our mouth to our blood. But it goes from the stomach to the large intestine”. Sullivan spoke on how the sodium and potassium content in Prime remains insufficient to enter the bloodstream.

He also spoke on PRIME not having the proper components of a sports hydration drink. Sullivan is the chief consultant for Adesanya and Volkanovski. He helped them cut weight to reach the weight limit. He also assisted welterweight champion Leon Edwards with his weight cuts going into fights. The beverage launched by Paul has come under scrutiny multiple times in the past too.

The components of the drink do not help in rehydration, according to Sullivan. PRIME has been an instant success since its introduction in 2022. The colorful packaging and Paul’s and KSI’s huge fan following are some of the reasons. Fans will look forward to seeing Paul’s response to the claims made by Sullivan.

Former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping has always been vocal about his distastefulness for the Paul brothers. Bisping has often criticized Logan Paul and felt that he was delusional. He recently changed his opinion while reacting to a video of “The Maverick” grappling with Israel Adesanya.

Paul has a wrestling background and has wrestled at the state level during high school. Bisping revealed his appreciation for Paul by saying, “He seems like a well-balanced guy if I’m honest. From what I have seen when I see him do interviews and podcasts, he seems like he’s got his sh*t together”. He also appreciated Paul’s skills in the WWE.

Bisping is a veteran of the sport, and such high praise coming from him is very big for Paul. Even though their differences in the past, Bisping and Paul could be good allies in the future. Fans hope to see some collaboration between the duo in the future.
