“The system is disgusting”- Luke Rockhold frustrated after judicial system allows pedophile to walk free
Luke Rockhold
Luke Rockhold calls out the judiciary system for failing to give justice to Cain Velasquez. Velasquez is currently in prison for attempting murder and several other gun and high speed chasing charges. Velasquez was involved in shooting an individual who was accused of molesting a small kid who Velasquez knew.
Velasquez out of anger shot a bullet with a handgun to the accused which missed and hit his stepfather. After the news came out, many mma fighters and fans supported Cain and his actions but it didn’t work.
Recently on May 16, Velasquez was denied bail for the second time in a row over the matter. The judge decided to keep the fighter in jail until further notice.

Luke Rockhold on the inefficiency of the justice system in the U.S
Rockhold was recently interviewed by Damon Martin from MMAFightingonSBN. During the interview, Rockhold opened up about his views on the case.
Rockhold explained that the American judiciary system has failed to give the correct decision and that has severely affected Velasquez and his family. Rockhold surely focused on the part that what Velasquez did out of anger wasn’t very smart but still the system should have taken more responsibility.
“To see his family not have him, over a system that has failed us, is not fair. It sucks. It’s just not fair. Of course, Cain did not play a smart role in doing what he did, but the system is completely disgusting to where they can allow a man like that to go free,” said Rockhold.
Rockhold and Velasquez are very close friends and used to be training partners at the American Kickboxing Academy in the past. Rockhold has whatever he can do from his behalf to save the fighter and so as the majority of the UFC fighters. It’s hard to say what’s gonna happen in future in this case but the fight fans are still hopeful that Velasquez will be out of prison.
