“Toxicity that woke agenda caused,” MAGA supporter Colby Covington reveals why LARGE majority of UFC fighters support Donald Trump

Colby Covington is an avid follower of Donald Trump and supports free speech. As such, he didn’t hold himself from voicing out his political opinions. He had promoted and spread the idealogies of Trump through his popularity in the UFC. Likewise, many UFC fighters also supported the former US President. Now, ‘Chaos’ answered why that was the case.

In a recent conversation with Tucker Carlson, Colby Covington discussed why many UFC fighters support Donald Trump. He said many fighters considered the woke agenda to be toxic and sided alongside Trump. Further, they were hindered from free speech as a few athletes faced shadow bans on social media for voicing out their opinions. So, they supported Trump who stood for free speech. Also, the fighters shared much-alike beliefs with Trump in ‘Making America Great Again’.

Because they (UFC Fighters) grew up in this constitutional great country of America, land of the free, home of the brave. I think they've seen, just the toxicity of that woke agenda has caused people. A lot of us are shadow banned on some of the platforms. When you start taking away free speech, that's a dangerous proposition. There's no going back from that. So, I think people just want to stand up for what they belive in, the rights this country was founded upon.

Many UFC fighters including popular stars like Colby Covington and Bo Nickal supported Donald Trump. Even UFC CEO Dana White was a long-time friend of Trump. He also advocated voting for him during his 2016 political campaign. But, they all received a lot of criticism for supporting the former UFC President. However, they believed in his cause and backed him to lead the country.

Donald Trump is an ardent fan of Mixed Martial Arts and has often visited UFC events. As such, the UFC crowd and UFC fighters always welcomed him graciously. Even recently, he made his appearance at UFC 296 to support Colby Covington in his fight against Leon Edwards. But, ‘Chaos’ lost a lopsided decision. However, he thanked Trump for attending the event and further spread his cause through his post-fight interview.

Colby Covington reveals the reason why he supports Donald Trump

It was well known to the world that Colby Covington supported Donald Trump wholeheartedly. But, what was the reason behind it? ‘Chaos’ answered the question in his recent appearance on the BPD Podcast. He said he was inspired by Trump when he left the wealthy lifestyle for the sake of making America Great again.

As such, he claimed Trump’s net worth went down after becoming the President contrasting with the increase in net worth of other US Presidents like Joe Biden and Barack Obama.

So, Trump’s willingness to give up his rich lifestyle to serve America inspired Colby Covington. Further, he spoke about his relationship with Trump and stated instances of how loyal Trump had stayed to him. As such, he appreciated Trump for his kind gestures of coming to his fights, inviting him to his house, and a lot more.

He gave up his rich and wealthy lifestyle to come fight for America... He is the only President in history whose net worth has went down after being in office. So, who else can say that? All these other guys like the Biden's, the Clinton's their net worth goes up substantially, the Obama's...That's when I respected Trump the most.

Colby Covington recently fought at UFC 296 against Leon Edwards in a championship bout. Donald Trump as promised made his visit to the arena to see the ‘Chaos’ fight. But, Covington lost the fight, unfortunately. However, he praised Trump in his post-fight interview and set the tone for his next year’s Presidential campaign.
