Colby Covington stands on the right side of the political spectrum. This is due to his affinity towards Donald Trump. Trump will sit cage-side at UFC 296 to watch the PPV event. In a recent interview with Nina Marie Daniele before UFC 296, Covington had some bad things to say about META CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

Covington wanted to train Elon Musk when Zuckerberg and Musk wanted to fight in MMA. During the interview, Daniele told Covington about getting a community guideline strike on Instagram. It did not surprise Covington. This is what he said about it.

Instagram? Oh, okay, even worse, man. Zuckerberg is a communist. He hates freaking America, and anybody that chooses to express their free speech.

Zuckerberg lies on the left side of the political spectrum, which is why Covington hates the META CEO. It is the reason why Covington labeled Mark Zuckerberg a communist. Covington is patriotic and recently lashed out at LeBron James for James’ refusal to stand for the national anthem.

I think it's amazing, man. What Hunter Campbell and Dana White have done with power slap is one of the most amazing spectacles I've ever seen, you know? I think it's an incredible show, and people are entertained worldwide. ........It gets right to the point, and it's gruesome, it's violent, and it's beautiful. It's beautiful violence.
