Marlon Vera has been in incredible form recently. Marlon has been delivering amazing performances in his fights and is becoming one of the title contenders in the Bantamweight division. Vera’s recent victory was against Rob Font and Marlon dominated throughout the fight and left Rob unrecognizable at the end of their fight. Rob held his ground throughout the fight but lost to Vera by a unanimous decision.
Marlon is currently on a 3 fight win streak and has been gradually climbing the ranks of the bantamweight division. Vera has a professional record of 21 wins, 7 losses, and 1 draw. Marlon has shown some amazing skills in his recent fight and one of those was Frankie Edgar’s brutal knockout at UFC 268. Marlon and Frankie fought in November 2021, where Frankie was knocked out by a brutal front kick by Marlon Vera in the 3rd round of their fight.
In his recent interview with The Schmo, Marlon Vera was asked about his views, comparing his front kick knockout with Michael Chandler’s front kick knockout. Michael Chandler also delivered a deadly knockout front kick to Tony Ferguson, which knocked out Tony for the first time in his MMA career. Comparing both Knockouts, Marlon said: “I’m not a person who live on the puzzle I kick Frankie’s head I move forward to Font. kicks Font’s a**, I move forward so whatever happened in the past you know it’s all for me I want to create new memories new highlights new head off. I don’t know mine was better; I have to give myself props. ”

Marlon Vera and Sean O’Malley fought against each other at UFC 252 and the fight ended with Marlon winning the bout via TKO in the very first round. Since their fight, both fighters have improved and have climbed up in ranks in the Bantamweight division, and the possibility of a rematch is very high.
Sean O’Malley has expressed his desire for the rematch in the past and he believes Marlon has “earned” his rematch after his victory against Rob Font. Marlon, in his recent interview, has also expressed that he is ready to fight Sean in a rematch and he is confident he will win again in their clash.

Vera, in his interview, said: “He has a fight coming up. I don’t have a fight yet, but if they want to make it happen, I will kick his ass again, put him out the same way, and he can keep talking while I keep winning.”
Sean O’ Malley is all set to fight Pedro Munhoz at UFC 276 on July 3 and While Marlon Vera waits for his next fight, he is sure if he fought Sean the result will be the same as the first fight.
