“He’s IRRELEVANT” – Marvin Vettori shuts down the idea of fighting Darren Till at UFC Paris Presser
Marvin Vettori and Darren Till
After their bout fell through, in April, it seems like Marvin Vettori isn’t keen on fighting Darren Till anymore. The two Middleweights were set to face each other earlier this year in April. The Englishman pulled out of the bout due to an injury.
Vettori is currently set to face the former MiddleWeight champion Robert Whittaker this weekend on UFC Fight Night Gane vs Tuivasa card. The two top contenders will face each other in the co-main event of the UFC Paris card.
The Italian Dream has bounced back after an unsuccessful attempt at capturing the Middleweight title. In his last outing, he handed Paulo Costa his second loss in the UFC. Marvin’s only loss in for years is at hands of the Middleweight champion Israel Adesanya twice.
On the other hand, Bobby Knuckles also lost to the Middleweight champion in his last outing at UFC 271. Whittaker‘s last two losses in three years are at the hands of Adesanya. The Reaper is a favourite going into this bout with Vettori.
Marvin Vettori questions Darren Till’s ability to come back and fight again at a high level, Till responds
Although the Italian Dream is scheduled to face the Reaper this weekend, he didn’t miss the chance to take his shot at the Englishman. He stated that the Englishman isn’t a factor at Middleweight and questioned his ability to come back and compete at the highest level in the octagon. The Gorilla is on a rough road he is 1-4 in his last five fights.
Vettori stated, “I don’t think I’ve ever even called out Darren Till. He’s completely irrelevant at this point, I think, in the division. He’s literally zero. Delusional also, How are we even talking about him? We only talk about him because he’s helping Khamzat get ready, but he hasn’t been fighting in a long time. He’s done. To be honest, I don’t think he’s ever going to come back. So that fight doesn’t make any sense.”

The Gorilla obviously didn’t keep his silence on this comment. The Englishman is very active on social media and constantly trolls his fellow fighters. Darren responded to the Italian’s comment by Tweeting, “I’ve only ever trolled @MarvinVettori on socials for a bit of beef nothing ever malicious or anything but every change@MarvinVettorigets to spit pure hatred he takes it What’s up bro@MarvinVettori?”
The Liverpool native further sent his wishes for the Italian Dream’s fight this weekend against Whittaker, “Why you hate me and Izzy so much? Good luck the weekend rooting for u as always.”
