Matt Schnell puts on a show at UFC Long Island

UFC is back on ABC and they are giving the fans some of the most exciting fights. In the main card, flyweight fighters Matt Schnell and Su Mudaerji take the center stage to bring all the action.

UFC Fight Night: Ortega vs Rodriguez takes place at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York. UFC Fight Nights are back for the fans to enjoy in the arena and Matt Schnell vs Su Mudaerji is a fight that is fantastic on paper. Both the fighters guarantee action inside the octagon and are both looking to make a statement in the flyweight division.

Su is coming off a win against Zarrukh Adashev in 2021. The fighter has not fought inside the octagon since then. He has a record of 16-4 and is looking to stay in the win column. He currently sits at the #12 rank in the flyweight division. Matt, on the other hand, is at the #8 rank in the flyweight division and is coming off a loss against Brandon Royval. Round 1 Schnell and Su are both keeping close distance and landing their strikes. Mudaerji looking to attack the mid section with some strong kicks. Matt, on the other hand, hoping his swift hands connect. Great level change by Matt. The #8 fighter takes the mount and finally gets the back. Sumudaerji goes for a few body shots from the ground. Great punch to the face from Matt as Su lays on the ground.

Round 2 Su goes for the kick and lands a low blow. Schnell takes ome time off. Fight is back on and both the fighters swining. Sumudaerji lands and Schnell looks hurt. Great left hand from the Tibetian and Schnell is badly hurt but manages to get back on his feet. Standing elbow from Sumudaerji and Matt is badly hurt. Another nasty elbow but Matt somehow manages to stand on his feet. Another huge left hand and Schnell can barely stand. Matt now with a great right hand and Sumudaerji gets taken down.

Huge ground and pound for Matt Schnell and Mudaerji is busted up bad. Su now takes turns around and Schnell goes for the submission. Sumudaerji is cut up real bad. And the fight is over. WHAT A VIOLENT FIGHT!!!! This is one of the greatest comebacks in MMA!
