Max Holloway vs. The Korean Zombie headlined UFC’s return to Singapore. Holloway came in with a heavy heart due to the wildfire damages in his home state of Hawaii. He said he would honor and represent Hawaii during his fight in Singapore. On the other hand, TKZ declared his decision to consider retirement if he lost against Holloway. The Hawaiian fighter knocked out The Korean Zombie in the third round to win the bout.

The fight started with exciting back-and-forth action between the two featherweight legends. Max Holloway got rocked, TKZ got rocked, and the crowd reaction remained the best during the fight. The fans cheered for the entire duration of the fight. TKZ blitzed forward with a barrage of strikes, and both fighters started to swing big. In the ensuing sequence, Holloway perfectly countered TKZ with an overhand right to end the bout.

Holloway gets his second straight victory after losing the trilogy bout against Alexander Volkanovski. Holloway’s future remains uncertain as some fans believe he should not fight for the title as long as Volkanovski remains the champion. However, some fans want to see a fourth fight between the featherweight legends.

On the other hand, The Korean Zombie announced his retirement after the bout. His career, spanning over 15 years, had plenty of legendary moments. TKZ will always be the first MMA superstar from Asia. Holloway and Michael Bisping praised the legendary career of TKZ during the post-fight interview.
