UFC Singapore featured a blockbuster main event between Max Holloway and “The Korean Zombie.” Holloway came out at the top in this striking fest after knocking out Chan Sung Jung in the third round of the fight. Many fans expected Holloway to call featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski in the octagon interview, but the Hawaiin didn’t mention the champ’s name. In his post-fight press conference, “The Blessed ” explained his reasons.
Holloway said, “Undeniable, man. All week, I’ve been saying undeniable. I’m not here to call nobody out. That’s your guy’s job to figure that out. That’s the fan’s job to do for me. I’m just here to be undeniable, keep being undeniable. I’m going to keep crawling, scratching my way back to the top of the mountain, and no one’s going to stop me from getting there, I’m not a matchmaker man, it is what it is. If the undeniable arc is going that way, then it’s going that way. I’m not here to call anybody out, I’m not here to ask for no fights. I’m just here to have a good time and make some money. So whatever way it goes.”
Holloway wants the UFC fans to decide if he deserves another shot at the title at 145 pounds. The Hawaiian fighter has lost all of his three fights against Volkanovski in a dominating fashion. Even after these losses, Holloway is still able to hold his No. 1 contender position in the division.
Other than Volkanovski, the 31-year-old has beaten every single featherweight he has faced in the past 10 years. His exceptional striking skills have always kept him lurking around in the shadows of the featherweight title.

Max Holloway reveals the fighter who stunned him for the first time
“The Blessed” has taken on many great opponents like Conor McGregor, Jose Aldo, Dustin Poirier, and Alexander Volkanovski in his entire career. But the fighter who was successful in rocking Holloway is not included in this big-name list.
In a podcast with Andrew Schulz, Holloway spoke about a 2014 fight against Andre Fill in the UFC where the Hawaiian got stunned. The 31-year-old explained the event and said that after getting hit, he got so distracted that he started looking at the clock. Holloway claims that it was the first time that he ever focused on the clock rather than his opponent.
Many fans would’ve guessed that moment to be in the second fight against Dustin Poirier or the head kick against Yair Rodriguez. In his entire career, Holloway has never backed away from a striking showdown and has also featured in many of the most brutal fights in the UFC.
