Soon, ‘The Machine’ confronted the champion for ‘ducking’ him. Only later did everyone notice it wasn’t O’Malley but a cosplayer.

Recently, Merab Dvalishvili has entertained fans with his amusing videos. Training at the UFC Performance Institute, he staged a play with one of his friends playing Sean O’Malley. They perfectly dressed the cosplayer with colored wigs, sunglasses, overcoat, and the UFC belt. Also, the actor did a great job mimicking the bantamweight champion’s body language. It added to the video’s believability. As such, here is what Dvalishvili asked the ‘fake’ O’Malley:

The interaction was very reminiscent of their backstage meeting at UFC 299. They ran into each other after the champion’s successful title defense against Marlon Vera. Furious at O’Malley’s callout to Ilia Topuria, the Georgian confronted ‘Suga’ and questioned him about refusing to fight him.
